Located on the western side of the Central Kalahari, Botswana in the Ghanzi District, Grassland Safari Lodge occupies a fertile region in a vast wildlife reserve with abundant Kalahari game. The reserve covers 15 000 hectares of prime, well established and managed land that gives rise to exceptional game viewing opportunities.

The owner of Grassland Safari Lodge and her family have been farming in the Central Kalahari, Botswana for 120 years - generations of history and experience in conjunction with many San families. Activities offered are not found elsewhere or are significantly different to offer guests wonderful memories for a lifetime.

Directions to Grasslands Safari Lodge in Central Kalahari

Grasslands Safari Lodge is 80 km (50 miles) from Ghanzi. There is a private, registered airstrip near the lodge which is serviced by all air charter companies. Charter flights can be arranged from Maun or Gaborone and certain lodges in Botswana, and from Windhoek in Namibia.

Owners of 4x4 vehicles can self-drive to the lodge, while those with sedans can drive to Ghanzi and park in a secure facility before being collected by lodge staff and transferred to Grasslands. Road transfers can also be arranged from Maun.
