Motswiri Lodge is located in the Kanana Wilderness, an oasis amidst generally arid conditions. Kanana’s unique eco-system sustains an abundance of game. Herds of over 200 Eland can be seen amongst other Kalahari wildlife such as Gemsbok, Springbok, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Kudu and Zebra. Giraffe, Duiker, Steenbok and Warthog are all commonly seen species.
Guests will find a spacious thatched lounge / dining room and fully stocked bar with ancient Leadwood trees which form part of the structure. This central area is a perfect spot to enjoy refreshments whilst watching game come down to the pan to drink. There is also a small reference library of books about the area and wildlife.
